why you selling it?im in the market for a white 535/550 but your buy out seems to high for me.

New member here from Okotoks Alberta (just south of Calgary). Please excuse if I'm doing anything wrong.
I'm actually a wannabe looking to get a 550 and probably from south of the border. Anybody have experience with this? Local dealer tells me that the speedo pod and heater controls need to be replaced??? to get car certified for up here. CAD$2400 for parts and 900 labour ostensibly to get the DRL's working. Also want $500 plus GST for the recall letter. Any advice would be appreciated.

I've heard that there may be an aftermarket one but Bmw does not have one nor do they say you need one, so far no problems yet and it's been really cold the past two weeks.
