Hey everyone i just finished installing my oem m5 front bumper with oem air ducts on my 530i and of course that means removing the oem fogs and now i have a fog light error.


anything i can do to not have the error pop up on my idrive? I don't really feel safe just leaving the bulb plugged in and hanging in the bumper. can i wire in a resistor or something? if i install a error free hid ballast without a hid bulb will that work? maybe i can just use the oem switch power for a relay trigger for something else.

or more simple - can i just have it re-program to delete the fog option?

also u can use a resistor or capsule, if u dont know how to code

cool! You think u can pm me or help me out here how to go and do this? It wouuld be cool so I can use that oem switch for somthing else.



I have a friend that works is a tech for BMW but I think I might need a little more info then just telling him to code the fog light option away.
