Can i do an M sport bumper swap??
As per title i have an e60 523i saloon with standard bumpers and am about to purchase sport bumpers for her. Question is...is it a straight forward swap and replace and has anyone done this and have pictures of before and after? Thanks in advance

Yes, plenty of tips out there on the forums.
One problem I ran into is there are foam supports that sit under the bumper cover and are different on the stock bumper vs the M-Sport bumper. If the foam pieces are not replaced with the correct ones or modified you will end up with a large gap between the bumper cover and the rest of the bodywork.
One method is to carve the stock foam supports with a knife until the M-Sport bumper cover fits over them. I instead bought the correct foam pieces from the $tealer and it made the process a lot easier.
Another issue is your stock brake air ducts will not fit the M-Sport bumper. Again, buying the correct ducts allows air to properly enter and cool the brakes as designed by the factory. If you don't do spirited driving it doesn't matter, but if you like to push your car hard and brake hard it makes a difference.
