I really want to toss the oil separator on my 04 525i M54? There's plenty of DIYs for E46 catch cans and CCV to PCV etc none I can find specifically for an e60 M54.. Hoping I can simply piggy back on what DIYS are available for prior models with the same mill. I just want some confirmation before I start chopping
Thanks folks

A e46, 325i is a m54, as is a 04-05 e60, 525i m54! Difference between the 2 engines is their Siemens ECMs'. There are several CCV to catch can YouTubes out there. If you feel so inclined, go for it.

Thanks for the confirmation. I just finished removing the oil separator and buying the parts.
If anyone is interested I'll post a follow up.

German Auto Solutions has had one in development for ages, not sure if anything came of it. It might be worth contacting them, I have one of their DISA valve repair kits in my car and quality is top notch.
