Thumbs up

My dealer replaced pads over a month ago. No problems at all. Suddenly there is a squeek when I apply.

Brake dust build up has been listed as cause if brake squeaking, My dealer just replaced my rear pads and sensors to cure brake squeaking, so far so good. Could also be the sensor or a loose pad. Take it back if the car is making noise again.

High pressure works best.

I never knew that ..... Thanks.

We are told by BMWA that we had a choice either brake dust or squealling brakes ie the difference was in the pad material.

Could be lack of anti sieze compound (copper slip) on the pad lugs. Can you see a copper coloured paste on them?

A quick strip down and re coat could help.

i did that back when i got my car back from the dealer.. it helped significantly.( and it was kinda fun too ) but after that i heard a slight squeak.. still pisses me off though because it never squeaked like that to begin with.. it was initially the sensor making the noise then i got it back louder then ever! over the past week its died down alot~ but with all the rain weve been having i havent had the windows open to see if its gone.. maybe this rain will help..
