The problem is, you won?t unlock the car from inside anyway, so you just break your window to achieve nothing. I stayed deadlocked inside my car few weeks ago, the guy from parking was outside waiting for his money, and I could not get out, or open my window. After one or two minutes it started to work. It freaked me out, but never happened again.

Just get one of those little emergency hammer things. They have a glass-break thing on one end, and a seat-belt cutter on the other end. They are like $10 at any auto-parts store.
Hint - don't keep it in the trunk!
