- Braking inside news -
According to US and Russian sources two old Soviet icebrakes are sold to US.
Presidents Barak Obana and Dminrty Medvedev has in London agreed on a deal
(see pic) on two old Russian nuclear icebraker vessels.
They will be anchored outside Los Angeles to power the city.
The names on the ships are not yet given but according to experts they
could be the Yamal (in the pic) and her sistership.
Do to the unbearable smog in LA, this is a good idea says President Obama:
" I have talked with governor Schwarzenegger and he also agrees this is a
good solution, in the short run".
More news about the matter is to follow.

I don't trust Russia...I bet they are just ships with 350 stationary bicycles inside.
Also, I'm sad to hear they scrapped the idea of hiring Tony Little, putting him on a Gazelle, and giving him a Red Bull during peak energy consumption times.

The Yamal has as two power plants: two OK-900 171 MW nuclear reactors.
2 x 2 x 171 MW = almost 690 MW!

And how many MW are in a Gigawatt? Any DeLorian owners out there?
That wasn't a gigawatt, it was a jigawatt. 1.21 of them to be precise.
But to answer your question, it would be 2 ^ 10 MW in a GW, same as with MB and GB.
I also call 4/1 on this.
