How does that work? NZ gets the 335d but we Aussies only get the 330d? Unfair!

Congrats on your new car mate

You guys in the USA............your simply mental if you buy the Diesel, as fuel prices in your country make the running costs virtually void I fail to see how your average man would even consider buying the Derv.

The 335d has not been selling well in the US. BMW has not done much to market it and US consumers seem to still think (incorrectly) that diesels are loud, crude, dirty and slow. The 335d, however, is a rocket.

But my point is surely that given the fuel prices in the USA and indeed the cost of the cars anyone in their right mind in the USA would buy a 335i petrol instead ??

The only reason us euro's like them is because they are seriously good performance blended with economy, and thats because our fuel prices are staggeringly high, I would drop the derv like a stone if I could have the petrol equivalent with your fuel prices, purely for the audio track alone.

How is fuel prices in New Zealand btw Stu ?

Why did you go for the Derv over the 335i instead ?
