Model Year: 2006
I've owned: Honda accord, chevy baretta (x2), chevy camaro, Pontiac grand prix, Lincoln LS, jaguar S-Type and finally my 04 545i....it is hands down the best car I have ever owned. Caught mine last fall for sale w/ only 41k miles...it's running like a champ still now at 53k miles. I don't think you'll have much to worry about except all the money you'll spend on mods...it gets addictive and there are a million options out here for you.
Enjoy and welcome!

04 545i sport here, bought last August with 51,400 miles now at over 55,000.......best car Ive ever driven. Check for coolant leaks from plastic piping and cracks in the coolant reservoir. Overall a very solid and tight car!

Spend the money to have your storm drains cleaned... that may save you thousands of dollars in water damage because when the drain clogs it floods your ebox and then passenger compartment! Ask me how I know...

Are there any write ups so I can do it myself? I feel I am pretty handy and I hate paying others to do things I have the ability to do...

Yes, as metioned above I am getting a 6speed manual. The 19" wheels are a factory BMW wheel and the tire/wheel sticker in the door jam has these wheels listed as a option from the factory. I buy cars for a living though and I have never seen another 5series or any BMW for that matter with these wheels.
