I am running a Mac at home and am trying to figure out how to burn songs from iTunes onto a CD that will show the song info(title) in the iDrive display when it is being played.

I have a few discs that I like but find it frustrating when a song comes up and i can't remember the songs name let alone artist - especially embarrassing if someone is asking me.

What are you burning the songs as? MP3, Audio CD or Data CD/DVD

From iTunes, you cannot convert directly to MP3

It works for me, burned an MP3 CD using iTunes from CDs I ripped, plays in my '05 545i, shows title info and everything... (after I had the iDrive updated for MP3 playback under warranty).

Really!?!? I always thought Apple wouldn't support this direct conversion due to its stance on DRM. I'll have to check iTunes out when I get a chance...

I don't think iTunes supports CD Text (I think that's what its called) when you rip to an analog CD. I always convert to MP3 first using 3rd party software, then to analog

From iTunes, you cannot convert directly to MP3
I burned a test CD last pm and selected Audio CD with "Include Text" selected. THe result was a disk that when put in the center stack CD presented the song title. However if I put it into the CD changer then it only shows track #

Very confusing but I guess that's all I have.

Apple's stance on DRM is that it HATES DRM. It's been pushing the get the Music DRM-free for years.
