Bumper Install and Removal + Looking to buy new m5tech bumper

Hi guys, finally getting ready to pucrchase the e60 m tech front for my 08lci 535i.
Looking around now for the best deal on shipping and price.
Found a shop that will paint it for about 300, and 500 installed. If i do the install myself thats 200 that I can spend on more mods, like grille and lip.
Now my question is, who here has installed the front bumper on their e60, any tips, how hard was it etc.

I just installed the whole m5kit,, it's not hard, but not that easy too,, it depends on the car, cuz each car has their lil imperfections and fitting issue that will piss you off

honestly, the front bumper can be removed in like 15 minutes. the e60 is the easiest car so far i've ever worked on. just test fit the kit unpainted so you dont have to worry about scratching anything putting it on painted, this way you will know exactly how to put it on, to be safe put painters tape on the areas that might hit stuff (under headlights, tails, fender end)

Be aware- if you have adaptive cruise, the kit is not sraight bolt on. I just had one fitted and we are still trying to solve parts required- kit is fitted but need different bracket(s?) for the adaptive parts, ie Long Range Sensor DEFINATELY and maybe Short Range Sensor. There is even according to BMW possible need for new bumper beam, although will be looking into possibility of reworking orig when the differences are examined

not sure if I have adaptive cruise, what is adaptive cruise, is it the one that breaks when the cars in front of you break, hmmm I might have that, will test it tonight.

Take the headlights out! Makes the front so easy! Rear takes a little bit more time to adjust.
