The weather was good, so thought I'll take the kids for sun, sea and sand (in south Wales - okay, there are not many places here but there are few hidden gems) this Saturday, but on the way there and back, I got my E60 peppered with dead bugs all over the front and my windsheild, whilst doing 90 (miles) on the motorway. I never experienced it so bad and using the wipers & spray on the windscreen only made it worse, making the visibility very poor .

Anyway, this morning, after spending good couple of hours shifting the dead mutated insects off the bumper, wheel arches, headlights etc, I noticed that I can't seem to shift the smudges off my windscreen easily (I used various car cleaning agents, none works well).

Anyone has any suggestion on what I can use to get my windscreen sparkly clean?

Hmmm Trying to find the one that wont damage such as Lifter-1 Automotive Bug & Tar Remover .. i dont know if they have it over there but it worked for me and use microfiber clothes or something smooth ....

if it is not then use soap and water and get razor blade and carefully trying to remove them... like how they prep for tint.

If all else fails. Plus dont buy new clay for window... use your old existing ones that you wont use on your paint. save them to use on wheels and windshield. Try it.

...........really good idea ! Also don't let bugs bake on in the sun, this where a foam cannon really works as well , a good 20 minute soaks usually softens up the little buggers so that they can be removed easily

Just got back from runnng some errands with my wife. Noticed a plethora of bugs on my front bumper, windshield and side mirrors. Luckily I always carry some paper towels in the car, I was able to wipe most of the nastiness off before it got baked on while wifey was shopping...

good luck, hope you get it resolved....
