Default Buckle pretensioner electrical connection

Hi guys/girls,

Quick query for you.

Today I spent most of the day swapping out the cloth interior on my E60 LCI 520D for a dakota leather interior, so far I have completed the front and rear seats, rear seats went in perfectly, so did the passenger side (UK based btw) seat.

Problem occured when refitting the drivers side seat buckle, it seems as if my original seat wiring had a pretensioner (I think) of some sort connected to the belt buckle, which has a square-ish green electrical connector.

Both drivers seats are semi-electrical, both have electric up/down, and upright angle adjustment, with the forward/back motion handled manually via mechanics.

My original seat has the wiring for the pretensioner.

However, my replacement leather drivers seat (from a 09 plate E60 btw) doesn't seem to have such a cable/connector, I have looked on the underside of the leather seat to see if it was tucked away, but I couldn't see it anywhere.

I have plugged in the small and big yellow connectors, and started the car - it is now reporting a restraint problem, I would like to think it's because the buckle pretensioner connector doesn't have anything connected to it due to the missing cable.

Is there any reason the leather drivers seat is missng this cable ?, was it was option ?

Is there any way of coding it out ?

Is there any way of salvaging the cable from my original drivers seat and retrofitting to the leather drrivers seat ?

Or any other suggestions ?

UPDATE: I have salvaged the cable from my original drivers seat and retrofitted it to the leather drrivers seat, it was part of the smaller yellow connector underneath the seat.

Unfortunately, when I switch on engine, iDrive is still reporting the restraint problem - will clearing the fault resolve this ?, or should the message have gone away on its own ?
