I got a bubble just before 10K miles and had 1st service at that time. I complained that it was tire defect. I asked about it and they would only offer 1/2 price on the new tire because of the 10K. I wanted to replace RF anyway, so I asked what if problem gets worse and they say take it or leave it; afterwards, full price. They also said it might not get worse. I put 5k more miles and it hasn't grown.
I have no idea if there are bubbles like this on inside of any tire sidewall. Imagine not seeing it and it ultimately fails as a surprise. This is a friendly warning that even the thick RF sidewall can fail this way. However, I heard no one on this forum mention a RF sidewall failure to destruction.
I can see that a pothole would cause this, but some have mentioned bent rims yet no sidewall bubbles that failed.

Just to let you know; I phoned my dealer, and over the phone he promised me 2 new tires (for the sake of balance..) as a warranty.

Good dealer!!

Unusual. Most tire dealers blame bubbles and blisters on the driver which is the usual cause.

One reason might be that all family cars got tires from that same dealer for at least 10 years...

Based on the cost of tires at the dealership, it sounds like you already paid for the new ones they're giving you...

Change the tire!
It might come in handy to try to repair it at a tire service, where they might succeed in absorbing the bump a little bit but not all.
But for your safety it's not goot to joke around, that thing will eventually explode, trust me. I had lots of them (not on my E60).

I recently crouched down next to a black RS6 in my office garage, to see what kind of tires they put on that car, and I noticed a similar sidewall bulge on the outside of his right front. It can be dangerous, so I left a note for the owner. I apologized for the intrusion, but told him I was just admiring his awesome car with its massive tires (still smaller than my 545iM...), and saw the bulge in the sidewall. I hope he got it replaced. I felt like a dork, but I didn't want the thing to blow on some long, hot highway trip.
