Broken 2.5mm jack

i had a 2.5mm jack connected to the aux input on the console on the center armrest and my daughter stepped on it causing it to break inside the input. Now i have no idea how to remove it... can anyone help?

i searched google and people talked about removing broken jack on laptops with qtips cut at the end with some super glue or with some precision tweezers, but i would not know if you would get electrocuted if you stick any objects in the jack maybe someone can confirm

+1 on glue, but stop, you have to extremely careful while applying super glue, chances are ..you will glue it permanently..

try soldering the broken tip back on. it's sort of like "welding" it back on. and in case u mess up, use a desoldering gun to remove the solder so it's not that permanent.

2008 BMW 528xi
You may have to remove the rear console trim and push the broken plug out from the backside. The trim is held in place by clips on either side and should just pry out.

If you can't get a small pair of pliers to grip the end I suggest you take the console apart and either replace the jack or pull the broken piece out after you have it apart. Super glue and a soldering iron could cause more damage...

Thank everyone for their help i had to remove the back panel and then take apart the aux input to remove the tip... Thanks again.
