I few weeks ago I got BMW to commit to change out my noisey Dunlop runflats and the dealer ordered the replacements from BMW NA. I checked in today to see where they were and was told the rears are on backorder. I was then told the replacements will be Bridgestones. I hear the Bridgestone runflats are good tires but the wear rating is only 140 vs 280 for the Dunlops. Should I be concerned?

I've got Bridgestones RFs and have 10000km on it and it looks perfect so far. The thing is that those tyres seems to be so hard due to the RF feature so I decided to swap them for the same but without RF....

I just changed mine... @ 22,000 miles... the rears had 2.7mm left across the whole width.... the front had 5mm in the middle, but less than 1mm towards the edges.... hope this helps..

My last car a 325 E 46 had bridgestones, i later swapped for dunlops... they did last longer than the bridgestones by about 30%

BMW replaced my Dunlops with Bridestones. I've put approx 8,000 miles on them so far, with no noise, or excessive wear like I experienced on the Dunlops.
