My Ride: 535d, Nav Bus., PDC, saphire black, dakota beige leather, heated front seats, xenon, shades, bright brown poplar, standard seats with electric adj. and mem., automatic climate control.

hi, i know this is a stupid question but i was wondering when break in time is over with the 535d, i heard some where that it was 1200 miles but not sure. thnx

Sorry, mine is a 545i Steptronic. Mine was 1200 miles that seemed to go by as fast as this car is on the Autobahn!

1200 miles and you have to keep it under 3500rpm according to the hand book.

Also.... you are supposed to vary the speed during break-in too.

So don't use cruise control. On highways, try to vary the speed some.
