Hi there...
Picked up my 05 545 a couple weeks ago...Dealer never mentioned a break-in period. I drive pretty easy so Im sure I havnt gone out of the boundries of the break in...I was just curious what the break-in period consisted of?
Thanks in advance...

I don't rely on the dealer for anything...RTFM!!!
Under 4,500 rpm and 100 mph, and vary vehicle and engine speeds, for first 1,200 miles. Avoid full throttle and steptronic kickdown.

if u just dont really try to drag race ne body or ne thing can u still be pretty hard on the engine... and if i do get bored with waiting... is it better to wait till at least 500 miles as aposed to not waiting at all to use all those horses in the 545
