My Ride: In a place where the Mercedes density is the highest in the world (no. of MB per square kilometer) I choose a Bimmer, why? because of one thing "The Ultimate Driving Experience"

I wouldn't worry too much, the i-Drive tells me that my rear pad is wearing out faster then my front. Too much hard acceleration with DSC on I guess

20,000KM and iDrive reading is at 4200 front, 4000 rear. This have actually gone up from 3800 and 3700. I fear that the iDrive is not reading correctly and will cause damage to the brake disc.

I had 5000km on front and 6000km on rear but I still change the pads to EBC greenstuff which are very good no dust now clean wheel.

When my car was at the dealership, I requested to have the rear brakes checked. Although the Idrive showed they have 7,000 mi. left, they were replaced (after 41k mi.). So I guess the sensors are sometimes incorrect.

got 30k miles (48tkm) on the clock. Front brakes show 10k miles left and rears 4.5k miles
