In the market to purchase new brakes and rotors on a '07 550i (E60) BMW AUTOMATIC with SprintBooster and AFE Filter w/ carbon removed...all doesnt mean too much but just helping as much as i can with some decision making...i have 39k miles now and really dont put mileage on car just looking for a decent set that wont break pocket...any info is greatly appreciated...

Got these last week $700- Front and rear R1 Concepts premium rotors cross drilled, slotted and coated, hawks pads and brake sensors!

Is it a must to change sensors?? i was thinking redstuff pads any thoughts on them.???

Can't comment on sensors or even how Redstuff works on E60s.

But having had great success on my wife's SC430 with Redstuff I will be putting them on my 545 when I am due for pads again.

Huge stopping power even when cold, excellent linearity of pedal pressure to stopping force (I think the stock pads on my 545i are too grabby) and little or no dust. Takes 200-300 miles to fully bed them and stop squealing, but after that they are dead quiet.
