Ok, I replaced my front brakes and the Sensor was totally hosed. I got a new today but cannot see how it goes on. Does anyone have a PIX of the sensor on the caliper?

thanks

I would recommend not putting on the sensor. Mine used to make my brakes squeal all the time. I then took it off and they are very quiet. Just replace your next set of pads just like you did with all your previous cars...when they start to make noise !

i remember it seeing it done. There are two screws i think they were torx or allen key type, basically locate the sensor and how its routed and reroute the new sensor the same way. Hope this helps

EDIT:BTW i only saw the rear one being done, not sure about the front sensors

Check this pic out from RealOEM.com, item #13 (sensor) plugs into #12 (pad).
The other end of #13 simply plugs into where your existing cable is now.

The sensor snaps into a groove area on the caliper and I believe that it is put on prior to installing the far side brake pad...I think. I can't remember exactly, I just saw how it was connected and installed the new one the same way it was done, didn't pay too much attention. I only did the fronts so far, haven't done my rear pads yet as they are fine. The front sensor wire has a holding point where the bleeder screw is I believe, this is to just keep it from dangling around. If you pull the rubber cap of the bleeder screw off, you can pull the rubber off to disconnect the wire from this mount. Then continue to follow the wire and it leads to a black box that houses the connection. Open the black box, disconnect the sensor there and reconnect the new sensor and put the wire back into the black box housing as it was. Sorry, but I'm trying to do this from memory. Good luck!

after your new pads, and if you replaced the sensors you will need to reset idrive service info for front and rear pads. It will NOT do it automatically, regardless if you changed the sesnors or not. Sensors simply snap in, wiggle/snap out. Look at the grove on the sensor, and there is a similar grove on the caliper where it sits, some force is required to snap it in.

GOT IT!!! thanks everyone.

The sensor snaped into a groove on the back side of the caliper you just need to remove the wheel to get to it.
