Since the day i bought my car i've known the pads and roters are ready to be changed. But on the computer it says Front Brakes 9,000 miles, rear brakes 9,000 miles...the thing is i've put 3,000 miles on my car since i bought it and it still says 9,000 miles and hasn't changed?? Whats going on with that!!
ps: They still do have a little bit of time left on them, maybe another 5k but i don't think anymore!!
ALSO. what is the microfilter and what does that cost? need to service soon

The computer readout can be erratic and unpredictable. On my car, the microfilter readout actually went all the way down to 0 and then back up to 2,500km in the space of one weekend. Even my normal dealers use the computer readout only as a guide. I would just keep an eye on it (and on the brake pads).
