Just some brake pad info. My local dealer replaced my pads and rotors on my 07 550i last week under warrenty for a brake pulsation. I came right back to my shop and replaced my brake pads again with Akebono Euro's. I drove my car all weekend and there is absolutely no brake dust and the car stops as good if not better than with the stock pads. Best $160.00 I have spent in a long time.

That's what ceramic pads are known for. Of course they're also known for catching fire, warping rotors, and being loud (with lots of clatter). Experience any of those signs?
