Do you have to change the rotors everytime you change the pads? My rotors look fine, I want to install axxis deluxe pads with OEM rotors, is this wise?

Depends on the width of the rotors. The rotors may look fine, but small variations in the width of the rotor can cause vibrations during breaking. My advice would be to have the rotors machined before you put the pads on. This will improve the life of your pads. If you're in the states, take them to O'Reilly Autoparts, they machine rotors for $15/ea.

Thanks for the quick response...

I called a few places in Tampa FL and they can't machine the rotors, does that sound right?

Resurface(turn) the rotors and measure the thickness. If its not below the Minimum thickness value stamped on the rotor then it's still good. GL

It's because they want to sell you their rotors . If rotors are smooth, with no nicks and grooves, measure the thickness.
If they pass measurement, put new pads .
If your rotor surfaces are smooth you can most definitely leave them alone. As long as they are not warped or out of round. If you have a solid, non pulsing braking pedal, you're good-to-go.

HMMM...I will give it a shot, seems like the most popular pads are the axxis deluxe pads...will these reduce the amount of brake dust? Will they prematurely wear my OEM rotors?

Thanks for the help guys!

the rotors might look fine but do they feel fine?

run your finger across the surface of the rotor. if you feel any type of uneven surface or bumpy sensation you need to have them resurfaced or replaced. You can put the brake pads on that worn down rotor but they won't last as long.

+1, and also check if there is a lip at the edge.

I'm going back to OEM pads b/c the axxis have just given me fits w/ noise & vibration when braking. I took my rotors somewhere today and they refused to resurface them b/c they said BMW rotors couldn't be turned! WTF?
