Has anyone ever seen "right brake light malfunction" error message come up...

anyone have any ideas on what that means (my brake lights still work fine) and how to reset the message?

thanks!

BMW Bulb errors often result when the bulb base / socket are dirty, lose, or have even the slightest amount or corrosion. And be certain that silver base bulbs are used. The car measures resistance in the circuit and is very very fussy!

The error will go away when the cause is removed.

And if you don't have your manual check the information section of the e60 Forum to download a pdf copy!
