Default Brake fluid service message

The service indicator went off for a brake fluid change. DIY or take it to a shop? There's a local shop which does a $70 "MOC brake fluid exchange" but not sure what brand/type fluid they use. I think the dealer charges about $100. If I DIY, I plan on building a pressure bleeder (see below)...how many liters of fluid would I need?

One liter is more than enough. I just did mine. Still was able to get the blue stuff from BavAuto; makes it easier to see when all the old brake fluid is through.
