My Ride: E60 530d Remapped 292BHP
Just an update,
After the first week she was back with BMW for and new engine computer and 6 glow plug, full software update and off the road for a good week. all under warranty. All fixed now.
Decided i needed more power so bought a evolve swicth. WOW it's an animal, kickin out around 290bhp and de limited (still to be tested). Due to the map copying the bmw power curve the delivery is very smooth, MPG are up too when plodin aroung, when booting it i think it drinks more that before. I decided to go with the swicth unit to change it back for the dealer visits.
All in all and excellent package and fast turn around on the map. There is still more power to be had by removing the DPF, should hit the 300bhp mark when done.
also wtf Carbon Black, it's blue it only looks black in the dark  when the suns on it, it's blue Oh well that what i get for impluse buying.
Next up wheels and tyres, Traction has become an issue

OK to clarify some things for you, the MOST port behind the glove box is for programming over the MOST bus.
Carbon black is a very deep midnight blue, one the nicest BMW blacks around.

Nice car mate - I have an 06 530d M Sport as well
The mods I have done in the past 18 months of ownership are LCI tails with Bruce V6, LED interior kit from John on this forum, Di-noc wrap on the steering wheel trim and gear lever, tinted the windows and added L7 tweeters up front. I'm happy with them all and would say they are worth while doing, LED interior and LCI tails are my fav mods though.
Now I'm happy with the looks I think its time to start work on the power, this evolve switch sounds interesting...

Thanks for the reply,
Thanks of the clarification on the MOST port, I never noticed it before and i've had the glovebox out several times before.
No thanks on the xenons, This is just a stop gap car, needed something as my old one was falling in bits. It will be either a F10 535d or a 6 series depending on how much bouns I can pay myself at year end. It's great owning my own business.
I do like the lci rear lights, I've upgrade the AE to led and they look great. Google evolve automotive, give the guys a ring, very helpful and it was a very fast turn around on getting me the map. Installing the map was simple, just remember to turn everything off, Bluetooth, lights, Idrive screen the work. last thing you want is a flat battery mid map.
