Well my old e60 has some major issue. Random power/drive cutouts while driving, rough auto box, Knackerd airbag even the sodding door cards are coming away from the door.

All that said I really do enjoy driving it. So decided to get a new car.

Went out in a 2007 330i coupe msport yesterday and couldn't wait to get into something with real power. dont get me wrong they do shift but theres now grunt. You gotta love a diesel they just keep pulling like a train.
Anyway I was looking around and found a 2006 530d Msport fully loaded, far higher spec to my old one, and bought it. It from a BMW AUC Stealer, comes with the year warranty and MOT.
It's carbon Black with beige leather. pro nav, bluetooth, media pack, heated seats, folding rear seats and a few other bits.

Mods for this one is 291bhp remap and for fat arse rims maybe AE too.

I really must love the E60

 

Nice one mate! How much did you pay for it? What did you do with the old e60? Trade it in?

 

It was 16500 I didn't get the best deal on the trade in only gave 6250 but its falling in bits.

Tbh i was getting bored of lookin round.

I'm sure it will keep me happy.

While stripping out the parrot kit and dab i found this MOST connector


I didn't think that there should be a spare MOST port behind the glovebox. I have a CD Changer so it's not for that.

Is it a diagnostic/coding port?
Any Ideas?

Bluetooth works great with my htc desire hd, just updated to the 2011 pro nav disc.

It's got the black soft touch roof liner which is nice and folding seats

Going to get the Remap order today can't wait for that to be fitted.

Black grills already fitted.

Can I ask why you installed a parrot kit in the first place considering all iDrive's have bluetooth? Also, did your DAB work with the idrive or was it one of those DAB to FM converter thingymajigs?

 

Bluetooth is not standard in the UK only the US. THE PARROT works ok, not the best. I now have the factory Bluetooth and its way better, it came with the media pack. The dab is a pure highway one. I only have it for one station the fm reception where I live is very poor.
