My dad Just bought a brand new 2008 530i. little jealous since i got a 2006 520i.

He had a choice btw a 2005 730i and the 2008 530i.since we re both just big fans of the e60, he got the 5er.

The reason im jealous is that he has the navigation system, 246 style 18", BT, the new gear box and finally the EXTRA HPPP. Cant wait to drive it (hope he'll let me)

im so jealous that i started putting plans on mods to add to get a 2008 Look outside and inside.

I know wht mods to do from outside, but wht can i do from inside?

and finally, wht mods can he do? other then changing the air filter( we re in the Middle east, no charcoal). and where can he find the most up-to date middle east map?.

I believe you can install a stock BMW GPS unit but really, I wouldn't. A cheaper (and better) option would be to buy a Garmin or something like that..... and the maps are FREE....

As for the Navi DVD, you could just copy the thing over, if you decide to install the BMW's GPS unit with the 8.8" iDrive display...
