It's only the wiper movement that's are wrong for RHD.
The indicator stalks, wiper stalks & box are all as i'd expect. Only some Jap cars nowadays have the stalks the other way round. All the Audi's & BMW's i've owned have the indicator stalk on the left & wipers on the right. Also the fact the wipers move in the wrong direction does not bother me as my seat is sat very low & the top right corner is not in my line of vision. BMW appear to have covered all other RHD/LHD stuff perfectly while such as the arm-rest & SMG buttons etc.
I agree they should have the sense to have them the other way round, but it's only a small school boy error in my book.
My only annoyance in that dept. is the cruise stalk. I'm forever flashing people by accident when trying to resume my cruise speed.

Besides, in an M5 I'd be flashing all the mortals out of the way anyhow.

The UK is the third largest global market for BMW after Germany & the USA, for head of population its larger than the USA so you would think they would fit the wipers properly for RHD especially as they charge us more for the cars. The official line is they meet EC regulations but thats just Bull Sh*t and I hate the fact that part of the screen is always dirty in bad weather it creates a blind spot.
Those that think performance is better than safety dont think much of their own lives.

The most annoying thing with the wipers issue is that BMW actually change them round on the X5 and 3 series
Can't say that the idrive screen bothers me apart from the boot up time
