BMW not only got the only diesel award for its 4-cylinder diesel but received awards for its six (N54) and eight cylinder engines as well.

Other recipients include Toyota, Audi, and Mercedes-AMG. VW got the top award.

so its like 4 or 5 BMW engines out of 10? That is powerful! Way to go BMW!!!!
(with one small exception. Their petrol straight sixes tend to "detonate" or "pre-ignite" making for one awful sound experience. ask me how I know, lol)

Yeah I thought I saw it was for the N55 not the troublesome N54....Tons of more tech in the N55 vs the M54 based N54...

The N54 engine is not what causes the hpfp problem. Its the fuel pump which is not even made by BMW. Engine problems would be like bearings, rods, wrist pins etc..
