Had a blowout Sunday on the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95 in Stamford) in a brand new 745iL (thankfully not my 545.) Jacked it up, removed the lugs, couldn't get the wheel off for anything. After 25 minutes, called BMW Roadside, showed up in 20 minutes. Guy had to bang the wheel from the underside with a huge mallet (which I am going to begin carrying in my own trunk), but it finally came off. BMW call center was extremely courteous and responsive, like i say, even though it was not the car on my records.
BTW, the Conn Tpke was completely backed up as usual, and as i'm sitting by the highway I received a lot of helpful suggestions on what I should be driving besides this $80K car - amusing only in hindsight.

They were just jealous, twinzor1, as we would all like to drive a 7-series every now and then. I had one blow by me on I-35N into Oklahoma one Sunday a couple of months ago in the grey dawn. I was running 80 mph. Figured he was well over 120 -- hard to estimate, but he disappeared into the horizon really fast.
