I was wondering if anyone knows some site or somewhere where to check if there are some parts on my car that needs to be replaced or they are in recall for BMW.
Maybe some site using VIN?
NOTE: My dealer is not a option !!!!!! That would be to much work for them !!!!

Um, a recall is free and usually performed by the dealer. Yes, I know I'm stating the obvious.
Why the heck would you EVER consider doing something to your $60k car like that on your own?
Seriously, are you on crack?

Too much work??? Go to a different dealer. They stick the key into a key reader and any recall work requried for the car comes up on their screen. Groan - my back hurts just thinking about doing that much work.

There is a site here in the US, http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems...ecallsearch.cfm , that one can search for recalls or other vehicle problems. I see that you are in Europe, but at least it might provide some useful information...
