BMW paint
I have discussed this before on other threads.
I have pics here of 2 of the areas that I could actually photograph.
I have a total of 8 chips in various areas of the car.
None of which are on the front skirt.
I took delivery of my car on 8/30/05.
Let me know what you think

That's just the way it is! The blue color is the worst to, because it's so easy to see the chips..
You got 8 chips ? I have not counted mine, but at least there is 40 of them
Alots of small ones on the front bumper, and some one the hood...

Sorry to hear. F*** all the chips!!
Shit is coming our way, dear Mr. Djurg?rden and others, but what can one do?
The same problem is with the soft windscreens, they are safe but they get easilly scratched.
The modern paints are soft, do to the environmental challenges, and do bare in mind that the EU just approved even stricter laws.
Maybe the chem industry will start to do their job as others...
