Hi all

Anyone on here got one or used it?

Was thinking of getting it to save going to dealer and able me to retro fit stuff such as bluetooth, folding mirrors by remote, mp3, etc

Thanks in advance

There are uk based companies that see the BMW ops kit for around ?899, this includes two IBM T30 hardisks that need to be used in a T30 laptop (probably hardware driver related reasons). Still though at ?899 I am not sure i would spend the cash, you can get cheaper kits on ebay but they are from China.

Remember that you need a OPPS kit for an E60 not a OPS kit and the former is more expensive. The OPPS is orange vs the yellow OPS.

Also BMW has currently moved to ISTA programming system. The latest software available for the OPPS is progman V33. I believe ISTA is at V35. So if you have a car that has been updated recently at the dealer your OPPS head will not work for doing any upgrades. You can still do diagnostics with it however there are much cheaper solutions if you are just doing diagnostics.
