HiYour best bet is to get a Nav software update and then get a 2008 nav copy + camera locations , you will notice changes instantly.

My Ride: 2005 545i /w Sport pkg - SMG - Nav - Premium pkg - PDC - Ready to begin my modding! =)
I like my Nav system.......it works great....I really like how everything is intergrated and I dont have to have TomTom hanging from my window or a secondary unit to look at..................however the only things i can think would make it better is if when you have the Nav up on the main screen the second window would allow you to show the radio instead of the double nav or turn by turn.....and finally I wish either BMW or a 3rd party would come out with update discs...that actually updates the software so you can keep up with all the lastest features on in car Navs. Now that would be sweet!!!!!

Yes I hate it. Why can't they make it touchscreen?
Touchscreen would not be an improvement but a step or two backwards.

Have just upgraded to the Professional 2008-2 sat nav disk - dual layer and the DVD unit reads it ok.
No apparent differences, first route calculation still very slow in comparison to the Mk IV High, not sure it was worth it.
