Wow ..finally thanks methodsound for the info I'll get it checked out..and yes it's bloody annoying for my wife to move my seats for me ...but I have to admit there bloody comfy as and well worth the swap ..thanks again

My Ride: 04 545i sport, stick, L7, sat, nav. Charcoal/ runflat/ cdv delete.
Suede headliner/ trunk, 3 way front speakers, four 8" subs in rear shelf, ACM, iPod dock in ash tray using gateway 500 with MP3 text and video on screen, MRTM aluminum pedals/ door pins, 10 farad cap, sound processor, line conditioner, 2 amps ( 4x100 and 2x200)

I paid the $30 to use BMWs tech site for a day.

The info that I find most useful are the retrofit instruction manuals. They give a description of the system as well as the connections and modules related to the new systems. I didn't find one for the active/comfort seat retrofit but did find the diagrams for the new systems and I got enough info to do the swap in my 545i.
