Maybe this will mean better deals. Maybe not.
I test drove the new M3 with the DCT two days ago. The intial offering was sticker, but after persuasion. it dropped $2k. A fine car, but not for the $73K sticker. The best deal I could muster was my car (07 550i) and $39K

Only Chrysler financial (and one bank, I think Chase) have stopped doing leases on Chrysler products. GM has stopped offering leases in the Canadian market. You still can lease any GM/Ford through their respective finance companies and any auto you want through a multitude of other leasing companies.
As for not being able to get an M3 for less than sticker, are you really that shocked? The profit margins on these cars are pretty big, and I dont think that the dealers will drop the price much. The fact that they gave you 2k below sticker is pretty impressive. That's just my 2 cents.
