BMW Extended Warranty from 50K to 100K miles

My Ride: 05 BMW 530i Orient Blue Metalic with Sport and Premium Package. Xenon Light. 35% tint, Red reflector, 123 type chrome rim.

Does anyone here purchase the BMW Extended Warranty from 50K to 100K miles?

If so, how much did you pay for and what is the pro and con about itt?
The reason I ask because I don't know if it is worth it since I never has own the BMW until now.

I think it varies from dealer to dealer. I've looked into it a couple times and it does not extend a factory warranty. It seems to be a dealer specific warranty that could be used at other dealers with authorization. At least that has been the case when I have looked into it here in California.

I have not seen a true "factory" extension of the warranty -- only an extension for "maintenance". I am going to order something from my dealer though. Can you imagine what this car costs to fix with all the gadgets and stuff? One failure with the Nav CCC and we're talking major $$$. Even something like the outdoor lighting on the mirrors would be bucks to fix and we all know this car is not exactly reliable -- even new. So think about how it'll be at 60k miles.

Yes, What i was refering is for 50K to 100K extended warranty maintainces only.

I was offered and purchased an extended warranty that covered everything but the electronics and maintenance.

Anyone get a price on a maintenance or extended warranty that covers the electronics also.

I recommend getting the maintenance warranty. It covers brakes,oil changes, and the 60K service inspection. You'll need new brakes after the original maintenance warranty expires but before the 100K is up. Given that BMW replaces brake pads AND rotors, it includes the 60K service inspection, along with the oil changes, I think its a good deal.
