BMW e60 issues wobbling front right wheel. e60 525d 2004
thought you brain boxes maybe able to help.
Here is the issue.
When i drive on a new road around 20-50 i get a wobble in the wheel which i can hear it. it feels like i have a bobble in the tyre and as i get faster the noise does too.
i have changed the discs for new discs and noise still there.
i then changed the wheel to the spare, its still there with the spare wheel on (space saver) its alot worse.
Its rear wheel drive and so its not a cv joint. i can only think it is the wheel bearing.
does that seem like it could be that???
thanks

It could be bearing. But could also maybe something to do with suspension maybe?

I would definitely check lower control arm as that is a known problem once you get higher up in miles. If you replace one, replace the other. Looks like this (lower arm is on far left with little blue sticker on it):

Get OEM mate. German Swedish and French in the UK are good suppliers of OEM at good money. Whereabouts in the UK do you live? As for changing them, check them first before spending money for no reason. But if they haven't been done recently, then at 150k they probably do need doing!
