My Ride: '12 BMW 520d Touring
Today (well, actually yesterday) I had the opportunity to visit the dealership for a "sneak preview" of the new BMW's (5-series, 3-series Convertible and X5), as the official introduction is due for today. I have made some pictures, which I would like to share with you in this thread. Well, I have to say that BMW has done a great job on improving such a nice, modern and elegant car even more. Everything I liked about the "old" E60, I like even more in the "new" E60.
Anyway, here are the pictures:
Type: BMW 525i Sedan
Color: MonacoBlau Metallic
Rims: Styling 242
Interior: Black
Trim: Grey
Here is the link to the pictures of this car
The dealership here also had a second FaceLift 5-series:
Type: BMW 525i Touring
Color: SpaceGrau Metallic
Rims: Styling 245
Interior: Leather Dakota Black
Trim: Grey
Click here for the pictures of this car

I can give you the link to my webspace, so that you can go there directly, but if that doesn't work maybe try it again later?

Nice pics. Thanks.
I have still to see a picture of the inside of the driver's door. Its it that bad?
Also, although the back seems to be a fascination, we have not yet managed a clear pic of the new foglights and try to compare them between SE and MSport.
I somehow think we're going to be flooded out with launch pictures today.

I can hardly see any difference from the "old" e60. Thank God!
Maybe that's not of any concern to some... beauty is only skin deep....we don't actually DRIVE our e60s do we?

Till you "look" at the new engines, with improved power output and efficiency in many.

IMHO the new interior / exterior features are but a distraction from what feels to be an awesome engine / gearbox combo
Remember though that engine/gearbox combos are different across the range and some have not changed though many have.

I may be wrong, but I do not think that (talking about the "new" 535d) an addition of 14 bhps and 1 tenth less on the 0-60 time is that noticeable by any DRIVER ... I think the whole thing has more to do with marketing than substance
