Had recently finished up servicing my transmission with new fluid and seals, went to start the car up but it did not crank and i can hear a strange electronic noise coming from the side of the transmission so i shifted into Neutral and thats when it started fine then i go and shift into different gears everything works fine except reverse, i go and try to park the car but it did not want to, so i turn it off and i still hear that weird noise coming from the side of the transmission, my guess is that it has something to do with the gear selector on the wrong gear or a safety neutral switch, anyone have an idea on how to fix this issue?

Have to take it back apart. Sounds like you didn't put the selector back in the correct place.
