Big Catch. Anyway that can be overcome. I am buying in the next couple of weeks, when the car gets here. I have been a member for about month.
Can you share how it can be overcome? I am looking to buy soon as well but I'm not yet a member.

For those in the U.S. as well as interested parties outside the U.S., the BMW Car Club of America, which is one of the the largest car clubs in the world, is having a membership drive.

There are many benefits to joining, including

* Member reward of $500-$1500 when you get a new or CPO BMW (no catch, you just have to be a member for a year)
* Roundel magazine subscription
* Discount on parts and some service from many dealers
* Driving Schools at major race tracks such as Lime Rock and Sebring
* Autocross
* Local chapter events (varies by chapter)
You can use me as a referrer (my membership number is 36024) or any other of the BMW Club members here if you wish. Referrers get credited a month?s membership for the referral.

I?ve been a member since right after high school and have continuously been referring people so it?s kind of a habit for me.

Click here for the membership form and welcome to the club
I was about to join BMW CCA as I purchased my car a month back. So I put your information as a referrer.

You got another month under your belt!!

Welcome to the Club!
Jonathan, when are your fellow writers at Roundel going to stop bashing the E60? Saw the write up in the latest issue comparing an E60 to an Infiniti and the author couldn't help but comment that he didn't like the E60 and that his old E39 was much better looking, or something to that effect. It has been almost four years since the car was introduced and it has sold very well. This endless bashing by the Roundel staff has on more than one occasion made think about cancelling my subscription to the magazine (but stay in BMWCCA). Sorry for the rant...

I have no control over my colleagues there unfortunately and I don?t think their mindset will change. I?ve cut back on my writing there but for other reasons. Write a letter to the editor. They run ALL letters. Say what you said here. Send a copy to the exec. dir. of the club (her address is on the club Web site).

You're right, I should! Sorry for hijacking the thread, the club is great and well worth the price of admission.
