My thoughts exactly! Half the fun for the dog is to move from side to side - just in case there is better view/scent on the other side of the car
Gotta love dogs, especially my Ridgeback
Although he only gets to ride in the X5

But, regardless, the four-legged all-but humans canines that live with us definitely are not pets. They are members of our pack and our treasured friends/family members. And, they have their duties and share in the family's spoils. So, they are much like our kids were when they lived at home.
