Hi guys ,

my uncle brought an E90 from Japan and the radio frequency is not the same , the car has Idrive and anyone knows how to change the radio frequency or get the radio service menu?

Here's how to activate the service mode for an E60. Japan's FM is 76-90Mhz. Most other countries are 87-108Mhz. Not sure if the service mode will allow you to change frequencies. He may need a
different tuner. Good luck!

Activating the Service mode
In the start menu, press and hold down the controller for at least 10 seconds.
Turn the controller at least three increments to the right.
Turn the controller three increments to the left.
Turn the controller one increment to the right.
Turn the controller one increment to the left.
Turn the controller one increment to the right.
Press the controller down.
You can exit the Service mode by pressing the menu key.

hi thanks a lot
i have try this but did not allow me to change radio frequency.

this gave me a menu but not allowing me to change frequency any idea?

but Rudy post something different on non idrive but this works.

Not sure. It appears to give versions, revisions, mumbo-jumbo, etc. I quickly exited and went back inside my house.

it gave software verson and a lot of tcu, ccc, gate etc......
radio but cannot change it.
