Did you test it to make sure it was good. I'd also test the connector pin to see supplied voltage. Was it getting hot prior to changing?

Yes the old one was getting hot but I replaced it because it had a slight vaccum leak

Have you looked at you DDE yet to see if there is oxidation. You have to pull the module completely out and look at it. The trouble circuits site at the bottom so you're look for water damage there

I'm pretty confident your onto the problem now the ECU looked super clean but when I took the plugs of there it was the green devil (corrosion) just waiting for some electrical contact cleaner to come clean it up and give it a try and see if it gets any better on another note though in the slot where the ECU sits it does look like some soot or something like that but I couldn't smell that horrible electronical burning smell

The green devil

Just got it back built up and it's no different still bringing up the same faults and drives the same so I wonder if the damage is further into the ECU who would you use to test it I usually use ecutesting.com to do my other stuff but do you recommend anybody

Did you open it up and look at the board? I have a guy that I recommend to people but I don't think it will be any good for you since you're not in the USA. I found him by going to eBay. Companies make posts on there and the easiest way to find out if they are good or not by the reviews. I do my own board work so I don't have anyone I rely on. Let me ask in my group if anyone works on DDEs and I'll get back with you. What country are you in so I can get someone close to you

I attempted to open it up I could get one side partly open but the other side felt like it was stook down on the board and I didn't want to damage it by prying it open

That's fine. You don't work on them so I'm not going to tell you how to. Don't want you to damage it more than it is. What country are you in. I'll ping my group to find someone close to you.
