Hi,

Newbie to the forum, hoping to get an E60 very soon, essentially this one:

54 plate,
60,000 miles
fulls service history, one owner (company)
1 year left on BMW parts warranty
no marks to bodywork/interior at all.

It also has the widescreen sat nav (pro?), with the DVD slot on the dash. Guy wants ?18k for it, just seeing what others think of the price.

Thanks

what extra's has it got!

Thats the main thing - Media Pack, Visability Pack, upgraded alloys, Leather etc etc? If it is a bog standard basic SE then it's a bit steep for 60k miles! ?16.5-17k is more like it. I had a look on the AA website for you and here are the results:

Nearest mileage available 60,000
Price when new ?28,925
Retail value Garage/retailer's selling price ?19,495

Trade-in values
Clean Condition?18,050
Average Condition?16,600
Below Average Condition?14,900

Hi,

Thanks for the speedy reply. I think the only extras it has is the 8.8 widescreen Sat Nav - the full version (not sure if this is business or pro but it's the DVD one). It's also got PDC front and rear. It seems as though you have acces to the AA site with mileage adjustment, could you please do another one with those extras and see what the price comes out at?

Thanks a lot!

Alex

if you use glass' guide online, for approx 3 quid you can get a printed quote from the guide the trade use.

However, whatever the prices say in the book ive found they are never accurate.

in the case of summat like a renault, they are ambitious, in the case of a beemer, too low. Just look at the stellar prices beemers go from on ebay with starship milages. Forcourt prices for s/h bmw at main dealers always look way expensive to me compared to new. Perhaps its the options that stack it up

cheers

Try to push as close as possible to 17 and you will have a good deal, if you really like the car. Seems only the NAV is extra. The pdc is standard. The Nav, imo, is only really worth it if it is the ProNav with the color screen map. Does the car have leather interior, too ?

We have almost 60.000 miles on our 530dA now, and it runs like a brand new car !

Sorry I can't give you any advice on the price, but since I live in Denmark, that's a very good price for such a car ! (180% taxes + VAT here )

The PRO NAV is pretty good, not as good as the Audi MMI DVD Navigation, but it's way better than the Business NAV.
