BMW 520D - CD Player won't take any CD
Hello,
I have a BMW 520D LCI, and today I have replaced the DVD drive as it was faulty.
I have disconnected the battery, only the negative (black) wire and then started to take off the actual CCC device.
All good, until I have put everything back together, and then I tested the DVD drive which works perfectly, and then when I tried to insert a CD in the CD Player it just won't take the CD. I can hear it working and trying taking the CD but it's something which doesn't allow the CD to be inserted.
I have repeated the whole process again, thinking of maybe I've done something wrong. Checked all wires and everything thinking it might work but unfortunately same thing.
Is there any method of reseting the actual CD player or making it working? It was working perfectly, no problems whatsoever. After replacing the DVD Drive, started this problem. I am desperate as I really took care of everything I did. Also all the cables have been corrected attached and fitted.
I am looking forward for your reply. Any help is very welcome and I would really appreciate your help.
