I don't think you'll get much from a tune. If you want more power, add a turbo or supercharger, or swap to a bigger engine.

If its a 520d you'll go for around 190-200hp range with remap.
Get some BMC box performance filter (for diesel as well) - or for petrol tune your air filter

Don't go for a bigger engine conversion as it will be more expensive than the car itself (and other reasons which were discussed a billion times everywhere). I wouldn't go for a turbo upgrade too I don't see any reason in that.

Remaps force your injectors to pump more fuel-diesel to your engine, that's basically how the power is increased.
For the way I drive, more power = less mpg
And if your car's mileage is around 70k just a remap should be enough, if not, I'd buy a higher engine car instead of converting.

Yeah mine is a 163 hp LCI

I had my car remapped by Evotech.
I'm more than happy with the performance. It's not less, not more. Just simply improves a lot of performance within your car's body limits.

However, you might wanna get the DPF removed or cleaned before.

Everytime you upgrade something, that ecu needs to be remapped.
