Exclamation Bluetooth & SOS System Malfunction - please Help

i had just purchased a 2009 E60 535xi literally a week ago, next day there is an SOS Malfunction warning on the idrive and a triangle warning light on the dash, and my phone can no longer be paired to my phone, (it gives me the option but the system does not show up on my phone to pair them. i take it back to dealer (Not a BMW dealer) because it was covered under warrenty, i was cool with them about it . they said they fixed the Bluetooth issue but the only reason why the SOS system malfunction was doing that, was because i wasnt Subscribed to BMW assist i was a bit confused, and was even more confused when i got the car back in the same shape i dropped it off at. Bluetooth was still not working and SOS System still lit up my screen. Idk why it is happening if anyone who had similar experience can explain it, i would be very grateful.

For your phone, take a read at this: https://5series.net/information/5_Se...ers_Manual.pdf

With regard to your SOS problems.... I have not had a BMW subscription after the 1st year of ownership and have had no SOS problems in the past 9.5 years. So I call your non BMW dealers response as BS....

Hope this helps.
